A leading field guide and conservation training organization, is looking for an organized, creative, and digitally savvy Videographer to join our Marketing
team. This role is for someone who can capture the magic of the bush, tell authentic conservation stories, and translate real moments into compelling visual content that inspires and engages audiences across digital platforms.
You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to plan, film, and edit high quality video and photographic content that reflects the brand, our
values, and the life-changing experiences we offer. Your work will set the tone for our online presence and help distinguish in a highly competitive space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and brainstorm creative video ideas aligned with marketing objectives
• Plan, film, and edit video content for use across websites, social media platforms, and digital campaigns
• Develop and present creative concepts and storyboards
• Execute full post-production workflows, including reviewing footage, rough cuts, sound mixing, colour correction, motion graphics, and final edits using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Create multiple content outputs from a single shoot (e.g. reels, shorts, clips, long-form videos, stories)
• Capture both video and still photography content, including editing and postprocessing images
• Film on location in remote bush environments and at our campuses
• Record and edit voice-overs where required
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment
• Adapt content style to suit different platforms, audiences, and brand needs
• Manage project archiving, file organization, and secure backups upon completion
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and platforms to keep content fresh and competitive
• Assist in recruiting and managing a media intern for short-term projects when required
• Support the setup and maintenance of a production and editing workflow for recording lectures and content.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong visual storytelling ability with a creative, solutions-focused mindset
• Excellent photography and videography skills, including proficiency with camera equipment
• High level of computer literacy and technical competence
• Experience with sound recording and mixing
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
• Physically fit and able to work long hours when required
• Comfortable creating live content, stories, and real-time social media material
• Willingness and ability to live and work in remote locations on a four-week operational cycle

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Film, Video, Media, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Social media and digital content creation experience
• Based in Hoedspruit or willing to relocate

Sales Manager.

Ultra Luxurious large 5* Hotel Cape Town.

Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing

To maximize revenues of the hotel by driving maximum contribution from all producing segments through the various sources.

To develop and co-ordinate various programs and policies relating to all marketing and promotional activities of the hotel.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Plan and Forecast hotel revenue for rooms, F&B outlets and from various segments
  • Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development and use the feedback from ESS to draw an action plan
  • Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Recruitment and Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the department
  • Develop & Implement the annual plan using the TBEM framework, linking the department’s objectives to the unit’s overall strategy
  • Assist in developing the overall strategic direction for the relaunch and subsequent growth of the Hotel, adopting a total Revenue Approach.
  • Prepare appropriate forecasting tools and strategies to visualize market scenario and develop long range plans
  • Develop a means by which to continuously measure the program effectiveness as well as to track the trends in local marketplace and beyond, which would impact demand for the hotel
  • Build an accurate and effective database of current and potential guests/accounts
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information on competition’s performance, sales & marketing strategy etc
  • Propose room/F&B pricing strategy in consideration with hotel’s market positioning, target customer and desired mix

§     Develop a comprehensive market mix guideline and ensure sales as per those targets

§     Identify key customer needs through formal research, survey, sales calls & meetings

§     Implement revenue management techniques and ensure improved RevPAR

§     Co-ordinate with the Front Office & F & B Manager regarding daily sales, VIPs, regulars and other guest requirements

§     Co-ordinate with the Credits Manager on credit limits and outstanding from various guests/corporate

§     Build relationships, network & maintain regular contacts with corporate and individual customers, bookers, media, hoteliers and socialites

§     To determine, design and prioritize the relevant sales and marketing supportive activities, to achieve revenue/profit targets for all revenue generating departments

§     Control the hotel’s distribution channels to ensure timely relevant and exciting information reaches its intended audience

§     Identify key communities, plan various initiatives and co-ordinate the support activities.

§     Ensures that you work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.

§     To be involved with Health & Safety within the department. Ensuring compliance within the department and that Health & Safety directives are carried out.

§     Anticipate possible and probable hazards and conditions and either correct them or take action to prevent them from happening.

§     Ensure that the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct maintained.

§     Continuously endeavour to improve the department’s efficient operation, and knowledge of own job function.

§     Oversee and co-ordinate the daily operations of the Reservation and Revenue Management function

Qualifications and Experience

§     Minimum 3 years sales experience in the travel / tourism / hotel industry

§     Grade 12 Certificate

§     Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management

§     Valid Drivers License and vehicle for day to day travel / appointments

§     3 Years experience in a similar position
