The International Sales Manager is a front line person, traveling to our international markets to meet with tour operators,

attend trade shows and do product knowledge training to consultants.

The International Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining the appointed regions of international agents,

growing business, developing relationships with new agents from those regions and creating new business opportunities

to support the group revenue targets.

International Sales and Communications: Build and maintain relationships with the allocated international key accounts.

Develop key accounts business strategies to grow business for group including a communication plan for each.

Plan, Book and Complete international sales trips to allocated regions of the world according to the sales business plan.

Monitor the inquiries and reservations status for the allocated regions key accounts and react accordingly as per group protocol.

Secure international site visits, host wherever possible, and follow up thereafter to grow business.

Assist with New Leads, Group Inquiries, provisional bookings, peak period inquiries and brochure features.

Prepare and contribute towards the compilation of annual Sales Business plan.

Build and maintain relationships with any allocated key domestic accounts.

Remain focused on the achievement of the accommodation revenue budgets for each of the Groups individual properties.

Remain Cognizant of budgets and save on expenditure where viable. Resolve Guest and Agent results timeously.

Be the Brand Ambassador in your dealings, living the group purpose and values.

Team Support and Product Knowledge: Stay updated with markets, movements, threats, risks and opportunities and share these with group colleagues.

Own the conversation with Agents and Guests. Maintain a wealth of knowledge on our properties including room types, locations, lay-outs, rates and packages available,

STO contracts and special guest experiences. Team Meetings Contributions and feedback. Maintain good relations with colleagues and surrounding communities.

Senior Sales Consultant.

Dynamic role exists for a go-getter with high energy levels that has a love of wildlife / nature / conservation and a track record within tourism sales.

The Field Guide Training Academy is widely recognized by the safari industry for its credibility and standard of excellence in nature guide training.

The Sales Consultant will be based in Nelspruit Mpumalanga.

Tertiary Sales / Marketing qualification – Diploma – Degree.

4-5 years’ experience in Game Lodge, Travel or Sales is essential.

The primary purpose of the job is to generate sales revenue from new and existing customers and maximizing revenue

generation within specific key regions.

In this position you will be responsible for managing accounts throughout the sales process including account penetration, sales process planning,  negotiation.

Supporting the Head of Sales with a planned implementation of the sales strategy, achieving sales targets, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include understanding market requirements, product capabilities and future industry developments and trends; working

with marketing, sales support, and other key departments within the company.

Key responsibilities:

Prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities.

Forecasting and tracking of sales opportunities.

Achieving sales targets.

Understanding industry trends, product capabilities and customer requirements for sourcing potential new clients.

Establishing executive level, long term customer relationship for future cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

Ensuring customer satisfaction .

Implementing your proven sales experience, demonstrating a strategic approach with support from the Head of Sales

(i) identifying market size and focus;

(ii) developing sales pipelines;

(iii) penetrating new accounts; and

(iv) driving the sales process through the selling environment to close deals.

Assist the head of Sales with site visits and hosting FAM trips and product development as required which may include out of hours and weekends.

Represent the company at local and international trade events.

Planning and execution of international sales trips to visit existing and potential clients.

Additional responsibilities as requested by your manager.

Salary R 25 000 (CTC)/month maximum, performance based 13th cheque
