High End luxurious 5* Game Lodge – Sabi Sand Game Reserve – Mpumalanga.

Manage the daily HR operation of the Game Lodge.

Maintains and enhances the organization”s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations

and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Hospitality – 5* Game Lodge  background & experience required.

Degree Human Resources is essential.

Post Graduation degree will be advantageous.

Minimum 6 years Practicing HR  with 2 years at senior HR Management level.

Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development,

employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development

Decidedly administrative in nature, involves documenting grievances, terminations, absences, performance reports,

and compensation and benefits information.

Responsibilities:

Provide general human resources advice to management and staff.

Prepare HR budgets and reports.

Responsible for recruitment and selection.

Personnel records administration.

Responsible for disciplinary, grievances handling.

Conducts training needs assessments, assists in training and development of staff.

Provides advice on grievance handling procedures and ensures that proper processes are followed and maintains relevant records.

Responsible for staff welfare.

Responsible for processing employee termination procedures.

Gallery Curator / Lodge Admin. ( On Hold )

Exclusive intimate 5* Game Lodge – Sabi Sand Reserve – Mpumalanga.

Versatile individual with strong artistic and administrative skills to perform the dual role of styling and curating the lodge gift galleries

as well as running the coordination and administration aspect of general lodge operations.

Qualification & Experience :

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Tertiary Education
  • 5* Game Lodge experience
  • Previously experience hosting guests will be viewed advantageously
  • Driver’s licence preferable

Gallery Curator :

  • Styling of both gift galleries at 2 Lodges
  • Control of the hub storeroom, including month end – stock take ; maintenance of the Sales spreadsheet recording guest sales,
  • staff sales and issuing stock to have a backup and reference for Pastel in case of any variances
  • Together with lodge management, processing of stock on Pastel
  • Assistance of lodge management with stock take at month end
  • Together with the Operations Director, the management, sourcing and procurement of stock, including
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the relevant suppliers
  • Quality control of product

Lodge Admin :

  • Basic administration (typing) for Executive Chef
  • Basic administrative duties, preparation of Excel spreadsheets, completing documents for HR
  • Monthly updates of sick leave cycles and integrity check of work roster spreadsheets
  • Involvement in quarterly EE Forum meetings, planning, coordinating and minuting
  • Coordination of combined lodge operations, where necessary
