Highly reputable luxury Hotel and Lodge Group is seeking a Marketing Manager.

Based in Bryanston Gauteng

The candidate should be qualified in marketing with a tertiary completed qualification and own transport.

Core Role:

Responsible for formulating, managing and coordinating the production and implementation of key strategic and operational marketing and brand strategies and initiatives for the individual property brands.

Responsibilities:

Management of the day-to-day output required by the in-house marketing team and external resources.
Responsible for the complete and successful execution of marketing strategies across all the brands.
Drive and maintain a cohesive social media strategy by providing guidelines for storytelling, developing dynamic content, increasing engagement, and reaching bigger audiences on various platforms.
Identify relevant media and influencers in line with the Marketing and Communication strategies.
Oversee the creation of all forms of marketing – direct marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, operational collateral, press releases, and sales executive presentations.
Monitor campaigns to ensure performance and relevance.
Undertakes to complete market analyses and monitoring of the competitive activity in the market.
Follow an efficient workflow and traffic system to execute all marketing to appropriate channels by deadline.
Efficiently allocate resources, monitor the deployment and report on the status thereof in the execution of marketing activities.
Work across multiple projects, ensuring all parties are informed of progress and issues.
Attend meetings – internal and with external marketing providers to coordinate and communicate about marketing outputs required by the organization.
Work with the marketing team and external agencies to devise timelines, instructions and project plans for future marketing projects.
Quality control process owner – checking that outputs are of the required standard.
Write and distribute press release to media.
– Be the custodian of and maintain an ordered DAM.
– Work with the marketing team to establish and maintain a client database.
Requirements:
– Marketing and/or Communications qualification
– Marketing Management experience: 5+ years
– Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
– High attention to detail and critical thinking
– Self-starter and deadline driven to deliver multiple projects
– Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
– Luxury hospitality experience advantageous
– PR and copywriting experience advantageous
– Highly active on social media and following social media trends

Salary R 55 000 CTC
– 5% Provident – forms part of CTC package (compulsory membership)

Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will be remote in Sandton. The primary function is to identify develop and account manage a database of potential clients for the two 5* & one 4* Game Lodges in a Private Game Reserve which is in the Waterberg Region, in Limpopo. This position will also require cross selling of other properties within the Hospitality portfolio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Develops & fosters good relationships with key clients, be it tour operators, travel agents and DMC’s.
  • Visit clients to sell the Game Lodge.
  • Complete research to understand each client’s business and key stakeholders, decision makers and procurement processes.
  • Research and establish a Sales Plan to increase the hotels revenue for the Lodge, in line with the Groups Sales and Marketing Objectives.
  • Comfortable handling the full sale cycle from cold calling to closing.
  • Monitor Tender data bases and Complete RFP for Corporate Companies and Conferences.
  • Contract Negotiation.
  • Cross sell properties within the Portfolio to increase the revenue for the group and grow market share.
  • Integrated approach and effective communication to relevant stakeholders both internal and external to improve the service offering.

Account Management

  • Develop a clear understanding of each client’s requirements and utilize the information to retain and grow business.
  • Ensure Contracts are renewed for existing clientele.
  • Host site inspections, presentations, training and FAM trips where necessary.
  • Contract, Implementation and Administration.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows.
  • Integrated collaborative approach working with all stakeholders.

Administration

  • Utilize CRM tools or filing systems to retain information and grow understanding and build upon the database.
  • Update/ Maintain all database/contact lists for both Operations and Marketing.
  • Prepare reports on competitors, trends and sales activities for the local hotel and monitor results on a monthly basis.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle.
  • A recognized Sales Qualification / 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Strategic analytical and data driven approach
  • Experience in working with Tour Operators, DMC’s, Event planners
  • Excellent Computer literacy – MS Office programs is essential and proficiency in Opera advantageous
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal competencies and presentation skills.
  •  Results oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  •  Efficient in time management and can work without supervision.
  • The ability to interact, and work with multiple stake holders to achieve service and departmental goals.
  •  A good understanding of budgeting and the ability to work within set budgets

Salary R 45 000 – R 49 000
