Sales & Event Manager.

To manage the sales and marketing of all lowveld Boutique Hotels ( 3 ) in the Group and associated restaurants to

Tour Operators, Travel Agents and Corporates in Mpumalanga and Mozambique. As well as Restaurants (and other areas where required).

To manage and market all conferences, weddings and events at the 3 Boutique Hotels.

Responsible for all associated administration and reporting

Responsible for sales calls to Mpumalanga and Mozambique–based Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Corporates, PCO and Wedding Agents.

Experience in similar luxury Boutique Hotels & Restaurants

Comprehensive understanding of all food and beverage outlets and hotels

Strong guest relations skills

Strong managerial skills

Staff management

Conferencing & weddings coordination skills

Own transport

Main Duties:

1.2 To represent all the products in the Group’s portfolio as well as the associated restaurants.

1.3 To provide all suppliers with relevant information; product updates, training, rates, brochures, images etc.

1.4 To forward special requests by suppliers for the properties to the responsible person.

1.5 To arrange site-educational visits for suppliers in your designated areas to the Group’s properties.

1.6 Where necessary, to personally host site inspections.

1.7 To represent products at agreed Trade Shows – Bridal fairs, Workshops and Expos, Conferencing, Festivals and similar events.

1.8 To look for opportunities where  products can be marketed in association with local events and associated Restaurants.

Salary R 18 000 including travel & Cell phone allowance.
