Monitoring the controls within the lodge and conducting internal audits

Collation and resolution of general ledger queries.

Reconciling various accounts including clearing and Bank Accounts.

Computer literate –Excel is essential

QuickBooks experience preferable

VIP experience preferable

Understanding Portuguese an advantage

Assistant Financial Manager    

Highly Reputable Hotel Group – Head Office – Bryanston – Gauteng

Accpacc and Advanced Excell skills required

Hotel fiancial background is required.

Duties:

To accurately complete the daily, weekly and monthly returns.

To reconcile and balance cash, floats and dockets.

To assist with stocktaking at prescribed intervals.

To extend and process stocktaking figures.

To ensure that petty cash vouchers and relevant documentation are securely and systematically kept.

To ensure that control systems are operating effectively within agreed parameters

 Process all invoices ensuring they are matched to relevant purchase orders and are authorized.

Check and process all credit notes and allocate as necessary.

Liaise with all creditors and suppliers & all clients holding account facilities.

Review all supplier statements ensuring all documentation has been received and processed accordingly.

Produce weekly aged creditors lists and take appropriate action to clearing down the outstanding items.

Produce month end aged creditors lists with commentary, no later than 5 working days after the month end, for review

To complete general administrative duties as is required of the position.

Assist in the statutory reporting to local authorities.
