REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 Year’s accounts experience mainly focus on Hotel banking and a good overall knowledge of accounts is essential
  • Computer literacy – MS Office, Word and Excel essential
  • Knowledge of the Opera Systems essential
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Excellent Communication abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated self starter

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Any other related qualifications will be advantageous

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Cash up electronic banking safe and clear all folders of banking sheets
  • Process daily banking and balancing of banking on Opera
  • Recording and tracking of all bank deposits
  • Daily listing of direct bank deposit to all relevant departments.
  • Balance all credit cards with cashier banking and bath listing from credit card machines and bank.
  • Prepare the foreign exchange report and banking of the foreign exchange
  • Record and identify, by cashier any shortages and excesses and bring banking to balance.
  • Manage the hotel accounts float
  • Manage all due backs of front office
  • Issue other department floats
  • Hotel float checks on a monthly basis
  • Daily communication/assistants with the bank & bank services.
  • To assist with the distribution of change to all departments daily
  • Perform Tip payments twice a month.
  • To assist with general accounts office duties.

Salary R 13000 including company benefits.
