4* Hotel Drakensberg – KwaZulu Natal
Hotel School Diploma with further 3 – 4 years Hotel Banqueting experience required.
Excellent Guest Relation skills required.
Hotel Management diploma or relevant tertiary education advantageous
Minimum 4 years’ experience in Banqueting and Front Office or related position
Exceptional telephonic sales skills
Communication and Interpersonal skills
Computer skills in the following systems
Opera property management
Excel, Word, Outlook.
Knowledge of social media advantageous
Self motivated and Self Driven
Ability to generate new business
Creativity and innovation required within your job function
Building relationships with clients to ensure return business
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to complete tasks within prescribed timeline
Following up with possible clients to ensure business
Knowledge and know how in closing business deals
Attendance of expo’s
Willingness to travel to attend sales calls
Driver’s license essential
Knowledge in report writing
Manage the operation of functions, Banquets, weddings and conferences.
Self Motivated & Physically very fit
Ability to work with multi-cultural team & Ability to work shifts
Strong attention to detail is of utmost importance
Salary R 16 000 including 2 bed-roomed house & company benefits.

Hospitality Management Qualification.
2 – 3 years’ experience in a 4* or 5* Reservations Position.
Opera PMS & Opera Sales & Catering “Individual and Group/ Block Reservations”
Intermediate Computer skills (Windows literate)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent Administration Skills
Excellent Telephonic Communication Skills
Able to work under pressure
Able to work shift work and weekends on a rotational basis
